Description
The artist works on the paper surface using the ballpoint pen both in its standard form and in states open to intervention. The tip of the pen is reconfigured through cutting and filing to allow for varied linear effects; as a result, line thicknesses and ink densities diversify across the surface. At certain stages of the process, the ink is brought into direct contact with the surface and guided in a controlled manner. This approach enables a conscious regulation of the physical relationship between ink and paper, allowing different effects to emerge on the surface.
