Artist Statement

My paintings, aptly described as a bridge connecting the contemporary with the traditional, weave elements from both worlds to create a unique and harmonious fusion. They prominently feature human and animal figures alongside everyday objects, navigating ethereal landscapes together. These figures infuse my narratives with allegorical depth as they traverse wonderland-like stories that unravel themes such as life’s journey and destiny, finding the extraordinary in the ordinary. It’s a contemplative journey into imagination and introspection, exploring interconnected themes of existence, purpose, and the enchanting unknown. By incorporating elements from popular culture and everyday objects, I add layers of relatability and familiarity, bridging the gap between the fantastical and the commonplace in the exploration of the human experience
