Clare Newton FRSA is a Hackney-based photo-artist whose unique work transforms personal narratives into powerful visual statements. Newton holds a rare Double Guinness World Record for her innovative 2012 Cultural Olympics project; The creation of the longest photographic montage—a kilometer-long installation at the Indoor games venue ExCeL London. It involved 5,000 people getting ready for the Olympics. “Spirit of Legends” Portraits 52 Gold Medallist GB Paralympic athletes, to demonstrate achievement and replace adverse attitudes for disabled people to positive admiration, including top 8 athletes as Grecian God/goddess in renaissances held Prestigious Canary Wharf London, Stoke Mandeville Hospital for Spinal Injuries. Recognised by the AELTC who commissioned a permanent exhibition.
