Artist Statement

My artistic practice is shaped by a deep connection to childhood and lived experience. As a child, I spent long hours observing the sky; its sense of emptiness, depth, and infinity left a lasting impact on me. At the same time, being closely connected to the soil helped me intuitively understand the relationship between abstraction and concreteness.
These experiences form the foundation of my visual language today. Faces have always fascinated me; I perceive them as landscapes, even as reflections of the sky. I am drawn to what is unseen—silent spaces, absences, and voids. Eyes hold a central place in my work, where depth, stillness, and memory converge.I view my paintings as a visual summary of living, works that reveal themselves more clearly over time.
