Artist Statement

Yüksel Dal’s artistic practice encompasses system dynamics, architecture, and hyperobjects, engaging with themes including relativity, climate change, and nuclear technologies. His work navigates inter-objectivity and space–time relations, intersecting temporality, futurism, science, philosophy, and fantasy. Working across drawing, installation, and sculptural objects, Dal focuses on shifting paradigms of perception and cognition, emphasising relationships rather than isolated objects through a restrained visual language.

The As It Is! series draws on Ludwig Wittgenstein’s proposition that “the world is the totality of facts, not of things.” The drawings avoid singular representations and instead reveal relationships between elements through line, forming spatial configurations shaped by void, repetition, and space–time relations.
