Education
2004 Akdeniz University, Faculty of Fine Arts, She graduated from the Department of Painting with the first degree.
2007 Akdeniz University, Faculty of Fine Arts, painting master’s degree. She completed her Master’s Degree with her thesis on “figurative interpretations of psychological accumulation and its results in the context of plastic arts as a reaction to introversion”

Artist Statement
This theme forms the foundation of her artistic practice, in which she addresses gender inequality. According to the artist, these issues have shown some progress—albeit in small steps—yet they continue to persist in deeply problematic ways. As an adult woman, she frequently revisits her childhood, recalling moments marked by the marginalisation of her gender.
She reflects on questions that remain painfully relevant today:
What does a child feel when they begin to recognise their gender? What do they experience? What are they forced to give up? What do they lose? What are they made to endure?
She also confronts broader uncertainties:
Will these children limit themselves when it comes to their desires and the dreams they hope to realise? Will they be able to live the identities they wish to embody? Will they be married off at a young age? Will they encounter violence?
These questions form the emotional and conceptual core of her work, shaping the narrative she seeks to communicate.
